Teacher Rotation in Level 1 & 2
from February – December
All of our drop-in classes include learning a routine that can be performed at one of our final events. If you are just joining the class for fun and not performing with us, you are also welcome!
LEVEL 1: MONDAY 18.30 – 19.30
Burlesque for beginners. In this class we will cover all the classic burlesque moves, steps, poses and give an introduction to history, costumes, expression and posture.
What we learn in this class will be incorporated into a routine with a theme. Perfect for those who want to start burlesque or brush up on the basics!
LEVEL 2: TUESDAY 18.30 – 19.30
Special focus. In Level 2 classes we focus on a theme, prop, style or discipline and explore its application. Level 2 classes aim to develop skills in a specific technique.
Examples of Level 2 topics: Boas, Striptease, Neo Burlesque, Boylesque, Floorwork etc.
*We recommend previous experience or at least 1 x Level 1 course before signing up for a Level 2 course.
