The Shimmy Shake Berlin Burlesque School hosts a wide variety of exciting burlesque workshops. Each class is focused on a different style or skill, to cover all facets of burlesque performance. We are proud to welcome award winning teachers from around the world so you can learn from the best in the burlesque industry.

Whether you are interested in classic Bump and Grind, Costuming, Neo, Characterization, Movement, Striptease or Styling, with our ever-changing roster and exciting list of guest teachers we have something for everyone!

Our regular and guest instructors are also able to offer special private classes for those wanting to hone existing skills or that prefer to start learning in a private environment.

Medianoche, dubbed “Sin in an Hourglass“, has charmed audiences throughout the U.S. and around the world — from select venues in Europe and as far as Singapore, Australia, and around Europe.

Medianoche has been featured for nine years running in 21st Century Burlesque’s list of Top 50 Burlesque performers worldwide. She was crowned Queen of Burlesque in New Orleans, and was awarded the prestigious title of Miss Exotic World at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.

Medianoche will take you through every step of tassel twirling – from optimizing your own pasties for easy twirling, to application, to the most advanced tasseling moves that you can put onstage!

Bring your own tasseled pasties and adhesive.

Fou Fou's Facial Fuckery

Steal the spotlight with a wink and a smirk! In this workshop, we’ll give your features a full workout as we dive into the art of facial expressions, from the silly to the sublime. Using games, light movement, and a whole bunch of goofiness, this class will help you let go of self-consciousness and focus on connecting with the audience. Get ready to wink, pout, and grin your way to show-stopping stardom!

Please bring:

Burlesque gloves, if you have them (spare gloves will be available, so don’t worry if you don’t have them)
Clothes and shoes you can comfortably move and dance in (there will be light physical exercise)

Fou Fou Kaboom Cute as a fluffy bunny, energetic as Tigger on speed and single-minded as a sex-starved sailor on leave, Fou Fou Kaboom is the cutie pants with a filthy mind. Since she burst onto the scene in December 2018 in an explosion of ingenuity and hilarity, Fou Fou has been amassing prizes and awards, including winning ‘Burlesque Idol’ 2022.
