The Shimmy Shake Show is the graduation performance for the students and teachers of the Shimmy Shake School of Burlesque in Berlin. After learning from our premiere instructors, these students are dancing the art of the tease for you—some of them for the first time! Die Shimmy Shake Show ist zurück und präsentiert neue Talente und Berlins Burlesque-Stars auf der Bühne des historischen Ballhaus Ost! Ein Abend voller Burlesque-Debüts, Ensemble Acts, Performances der Trainer*innen und vielem mehr.
Seit über 15 Jahren fördert die Shimmy Shake School for Burlesque die Burlesque-Ausbildung in Berlin und stärkt die lange queere Geschichte dieser Kunst und ihre Bedeutung als Form des Selbstausdrucks. Durch Tanz, Striptease und Storytelling hat die Shimmy Shake School unzählige Künstler*innen auf die Bühne gebracht.
