Our regular and guest instructors are also able to offer special private classes for those wanting to hone existing skills or that prefer to start learning in a private environment.

In this workshop we’ll explore hyper-sexual movement with an unapologetic attitude.
We’ll turn the lights down low + embrace our inner slutty slut slut dance time movement.
Basically, let’s just have a fun time + f*ck the patriarchy telling us how to move our bodies.
What to wear: heels, bare feet, socks, sexy clothes, sweatpants, Pleasers…whatever you want!
As might be moments on the floor in either choreography or warm-up, kneepads are always a good idea if you have sensitive joints.
Portia Favro is professional dancer turned showgirl and power house performer who jetéd into showgirl life full-time + hasn’t looked back. She is an internationally recognized choreographer and performer, known for winning “Best Large Group” at the prestigious Burlesque Hall of Fame (2023). As the headmistress of the Pin-Up Posse, Portia has cultivated a reputation as a dynamic leader, fostering a vibrant community of performers who embrace the art of classic and modern burlesque. Most recently, Portia Favro was voted #13 in the Burlesque Top 50 Most Influential Performers in the World (2024) and “Most Erotic” at The Hollywood Burlesque Festival (2025)
Stretch and Strength for Everyone with Dahlia Fatale
Taking care of the body is so important, but where to start? In this 90 min workshop, we will discuss methods for warming up, techniques needed to do so, and general body care. Then we will practice with a full body stretch. Part lecture, part movement, this class will leave you feeling prepared to care for your muscles and joints and reach any new physical goals you may have. Knee pads and a mat are highly recommended. All bodies are invited to attend as this class will offer variations from beginner to advanced.
Dahlia Fatale is an award-winning, internationally travelling burlesque performer, contortionist, producer and instructor. Dahlia’s performances combine the skills of a lifetime of classical dance training with the playful tease of burlesque and the bizarre and super human styling of contortion. Dahlia has performed at prestigious events across the US and Canada. A comprehensive list of notable performances can be found below. She co-produces Sextape! A Metal Mixtape alongside Helena Handbasket, Chicago’s only currently running all-metal burlesque revue. In 2019 she was awarded the title of Best Debut at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender.
